NaNoWriMo…are you ready?

I did it. I finally did it. I signed up NaNoWriMo for the first time ever. I figured why not. I can write the third and final novel in the Chronicles of Fallhollow saga.

What about you? Are you going to join in? You should! Come on! It’ll be fun. Just go to the NaNoWriMo website here and join. It’s painless. Once done, all you need to do is limber up your hands and fingers by November 1 and be ready to toss out a 50,000 word novel in 30 days!

  1. I have done Nano several times now and it is a blast! I don’t think I’ll be able to do it this year, but good luck to you and everyone else going for it! 🙂

  2. I did NaNo last year. As I was in the phase of totally rewriting the 2nd Holloway Pack Novel at the time, I didn’t think I’d pull it off, but I did. It’s a cool feeling.
I wasn’t going to do it this year, but I’ve been dragging my writing heels lately despite have loads to do so I figured if I signed up, I could at least use the word count to wrap up a tonne of unfinished products I have lingering in my Doc folder. So I’ll be combining pieces to make the word count, I think: 3rd Holloway Pack novel (10k left to write), a novella I started (around 15k left to write), and I have around another 10 projects I’ve written the openings for I’ll choose from for expansion …
My username is JeminiJu on there if you want to hook up. 🙂

  3. I love NaNoWriMo! I am already involved with a WIP, but I plan on doing it this year anyway. It’s fun to get involved with. Last year, it resulted in my latest book. (Although, I later condensed it into a short story.)

    Fun times~

    1. you can follow the link on my post or you can Google NaNoWriMo and it will give you the link (they are down for maintenance at the moment). After you sign up, they’ll send you an e-mail with all the info you could possibly want to read about the event. Let me know if you decide to go for it. We’ll be each other’s support person. 🙂

  4. Wow, I just had to take a deep breath, LOL :). Good for you for signing up. There is this crazy part of me that really wants to, but I’m in the middle of a WIP I want to finish by mid November. I really don’t want to ditch it for a new NaNoWriMo project. But it’s so tempting.

    Best of luck to you!!

    1. I really shouldn’t do this because I’m trying to revise my 1st novel and get it back to the publisher for publication (I hope and pray *fingers crossed*). But, I figured why not. It might just be the catalyst to get my butt in gear, finish this saga and move on to my next project.

Keep me posted on your WIP! Have you got any agents or publishers in mind?

    2. It doesn’t have to consist of a singular project. You could use the word count to finish up these WIP, and then move onto another project to complete the word count. It’s more about achieving the 50k than achieving a singular product. 🙂
