Query Letters

Fantastic advice

  1. I think that the best approach is to be working on your promotional material (query letter and various manuscript summaries) during the editing process, rather than afterward. That way, it doesn’t loom in front of you like some terrible nightmare and when the final edit is finished (on your end) you can have the satisfaction of sending it out to the agents you’ve targeted (you have already targeted the best agents and editors for your work, haven’t you?) right away.
