One More Day

Today is the day to reveal my big secret!!  Are you ready?  Here it comes…

I’m a published author…AGAIN!!!

J. Taylor Publishing has accepted my YA short story, Dragon Flight, to appear in their new YA anthology, One More Day, due for release in e-book and print December 2, 2013.  Click here for the official press release.

I can’t believe it!  I’m so excited, and I’m especially thrilled for the new authors who are getting published for the 1st time!!!  Way to go!!  May this be the first of many!!

I’ll keep you posted on more details as they become available.  Right now, I have to go squeal with happiness.  🙂

In the meantime, go ahead and add it to your Goodreads list!

  2. Hey, congratulations Jenny! I’m looking forward to reading this anthology to see what people have done with the prompt! I entered this one myself, they liked the story but unfortunately I just didn’t write it well enough! Ah well. I’ll definitely try again next year if they do another one. Anyway, congrats again, I really am pleased for you, you deserve it 🙂

      1. Yes, this experience certainly didn’t put me off, it actually encouraged me and I learned a lot. It was my first time of submitting to anything like that. I was so grateful that J Taylor gave me some actual reasons for why they couldn’t accept the story and what they said was totally fair – that makes such a huge difference than just getting a generic rejection which leaves you wondering what you did wrong!

    1. You think that’s funny, do you? You should see the little devil right now, staring me down, wagging his nubby little finger and growling, “Finish your damn novel!” He can be quite nasty at times. Right now he’s grumbling about not having coffee. Sheesh. The things I do for my muse. 🙂
