“If You Could…” Friday!

Hello everyone!  It’s time again for “If you could…” Friday.  In keeping with St. Patty’s Day…

If you met a leprechaun and he could send you through a magic portal to any point in time, where would you go and what would you do once you got there? Would it be one way or round trip?

I can’t wait to read your answers!

  1. Is it just a point in time I’m allowed access to? Or does the trip include a place? If I can just travel through time, maybe I could get a roundtrip to a summer before Anchorage was built?

    1. You can include a place. If I could go anywhere, I’d go back to 1886 Bavaria and be friends with Mad King Ludwig II so I could visit Neuschwanstein Castle every day. I would also like to be a witness to his death. Was he murdered at the lake along with his shrink? If so, who killed him? I want to unravel the mystery.

  2. I’d like to go back to college and redo everything knowing what I know now. I’d ask for a round trip ticket just in case things didn’t work out as well as I thought they might. 😉

    1. LOL! I wouldn’t want to go back to when I first started college. It was not a happy time in my life. I praise your ambition and your dedication to learning. I do have to admit that bachelor’s and/or master’s degree would be nice to have at a younger age.

  3. I’ll go back to Adam and Eve and hand them a condom… I’m sorry, I was kidding.
I would go to the ancient cities of the Sumarian civilization. It is the oldest known civilization. I want to know how did they live and how the people were. I would compare them to us and see if we really evolved.
    I probably won’t last a week. 🙂

    1. LOL! I’d think you’d want to cast Satan out of the garden. Obliterate him. Blow him up. 😉 Actually, your journey would be an interesting one to take. Something tells me we haven’t evolved that much.

    1. oooo, that sounds like fun. And, maybe you could be really invisible and your little guy could ride one. What would be his dino of choice? I always liked the brontosaurus. Of course, riding a friendly quetzalcoatlus would be cool, too.

  4. Well – of course, he’d send me to visit all those medieval castles, and to kiss the Blarney Stone! And I couldn’t leave without meeting up with some awesome dragons and handsome knights now, could I? But if I’m going to finish packing to move and get back to writing my book, that wouldn’t be good either, so I would have to come back … eventually … 😀
