Summer Blogging Schedule

After much deliberation, I’ve decided to cut my blogging schedule back to two days a week – Monday and Thursday.

I have three novels in the works, one with a deadline of August 31, and another with a deadline of September 30 (might be pushing that one).  I’m also preparing for an exciting YA Author blog takeover happening here on July 22 – 30.  Mark your calendars; it’s going to be fantastic!  There is also marketing I need to do for MAKE BELIEVE, which includes my short story, THE AMULET OF ORMISEZ.

I do plan to read a lot over the summer, so there may be a few book reviews posted on off days.  Keep an eye out for my next review of Veronica Roth’s INSURGENT.

So, there you have it.  Enjoy your weekend and I’ll see you on Monday.

  1. You have to think, Robin, not all blogs require comments. the really long ones I make note of and go back to them when I have break time. The ones that are funny or enjoyable where I can ‘like’ and leave a comment to let the author know I was there and I enjoyed their post I can attend to pretty quick (I read fast). Also, not every blogger posts something every day so I try to at least click to get them a ‘visit’ and move on. Of course, I just started this regiment. We’ll see how I’m doing a week from now. LOL.

        1. I set aside an hour in the morning and an hour at night. Of course, I’m notified by e-mail of blogs I subscribe to if someone posts so I can head over right away and read and comment. It’s the only way I can do it and make time to write and spend time with family.

  2. From my glob to your B-L-O-G, Jenny — you deserve a wonderful summer.

The time you put into your posts shows. Go forth and conquer those WIPs.

Know that my lack of visits is not a reflection on the quality of your blogs. I simply had to smack down my Social Media time or face missing the Golden Heart again this year. THAT one takes a completed manuscript. And, I want to have it beta to zeta read before I enter.

You’re working on two? *head desk*shudder*

  3. Wow, that’s a ton on your plate. I think cutting back on the blogging is a great idea. Look forward to your posts! 🙂

    1. I have to tell you, I’m invested 100% and have 1/3 more to go! 🙂 I can’t get enough. I want to read faster but I’m afraid if I do, I’ll miss something. I’m savoring every word. I will say this. If you haven’t read Divergent in a while, read it again, at least the last few chapters to reacquaint yourself because Insurgent picks up EXACTLY where Divergent leaves off and there is no recapping.
