Breaking Dawn Part 2

If you saw The Hunger Games, then you saw the preview for Breaking Dawn – Part 2, the final installment in the Twilight saga.  Just in case you’re one of the few that hasn’t seen the trailer, you can find it below.

Now some of you may not understand the whole Twilight appeal, but if you’re a girl between the ages of 14 and 18, odds are you’re  grasping at every bit of information you can find to satiate your hunger for these films.

I’m a musical score kind of person and have been scouring the net for any info on possible artist contributions to the final film.  I know that Rob Pattinson is to perform a piano/singing duet with his on-screen daughter, Mackenzie Fox (“Renesmee”).  That news has been out for a while and you can read about it here.

What really got me excited, however, is the rumor of another song that may be part of Breaking Dawn Part 2 Soundtrack.  It’s called “Gone” by The New Velvet.  Now, I don’t know if the rumors are true, but I really like this band.  If you’re into Maroon 5, you’ll probably like them, too.  Even if the song isn’t in the movie, I still LOVE it!   Take a listen.  What do you think?

Doesn’t it have such a ‘Twilight” sound?  Are you looking forward to seeing Breaking Dawn Part 2 in November 2012?

  1. I can’t wait for Part 2! 🙂 It’s sad to see it all come to an end, but I’ve enjoyed every bit of the saga. When I heard Robert Pattinson was playing the piano in Part 2, I just about popped a gasket from the excitement. He is so talented! 🙂

  2. Good morning! Your blog looks so fantastic! I am loving it. I hear great songs in movies and desperately watch the credits to see who sings what so I can go find the tune (hopefully).
My favorite movie score is the soundtrack to Braveheart.
I am listening to this now.. it absolutely reminds me of Maroon 5. Who, I am not a big fan of.. but that song “Moves Like Jagger: is awesome!

Have a great day, Jenny.. see you around blog town, 😀

    1. Good morning to you, too, and thank you for the kind words! It’s so nice to wake up to.

I love the Braveheart soundtrack. I love the movie even more. I would have to say it’s one of Mel’s better works (followed close by The Patriot)

  3. Jenny, I really like the greens and blues of your new page. 🙂 The side image is so cool too. Thanks for the Twilight preview, I still haven’t made it to Hunger Games. I am a big fan of the Twilight soundtracks and scores. Moreso than the movie, less so than the books. 🙂 Loved RobPat’s songs on the first soundtrack.

    1. aww, thanks for the compliment. I like the colors and design, too. I liked Rob’s songs, too. He has such a raw quality to his voice. I’ve liked most of the music that was picked for the films. I think they did a great job with the score.
