Pair Most Likely to Stay Best Friends Till They’re 80 – Zuzana and Karou from Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

Breakout Novel (Favorite Book by a Debut Author) – Divergent, no questions asked!  Amazing.

Best Old-Timer (Favorite read of the year, published BEFORE 2011) – Hunger Games trilogy.  I can’t pick just one.  It’s been how long since they were released and I’m still thinking about these characters!

Most Pleasant Surprise (Book you didn’t think you’d like, but totally did.)  The Future of Us

Sleeper Hit (Book I found so awesome I wish it had been hyped more) – Starcrossed

And now it’s MY turn to pick a superlative!

Most anticipated 2012 YA release…

  1. Glad someone else loved Percy’s return as much as we did! 🙂 And yes, a thousand times yes, to the awesomeness that is The Hunger Games! Miss Peregrine has a creeptastic cover, but I’m excited to read it (have it at home).

I haven’t heard of Halflings! I’ll have to go look it up now!

  2. I have not read The Hunger Games yet (*blushes a bit*) but the books are awaiting me at home…
I heard of Starcrossed on another blog and it´s been on my list since then. I need to get around to it…
Thanks for sharing, this blogfest was a great way to add a *few* more books to my TBR 🙂

    1. I recommend The Hunger Games trilogy to everyone. The story really stays with you for a long time after you read it. Thank you for visiting and following! you made my day.
