Melodious wind chimes
Sounded on the scent
Of the night blooming jasmine.
A humming bird hung above the exotic
Cigar Plant to partake of nature’s nectar
Before her resting upon
The moon’s light that
Quickly approached.
Eyes of azure blue closed
Dreamily as the hammock
Gently swayed upon a tropical breeze.
The touch of your lips, sensually parting
Upon my neck, lay sweetly in memory’s bliss.
Then, disappointment set in
For once again, it had only been
A fantasy of you.
